Party

The London party scene is extremely varied. Most pubs and bars frustratingly close rather early by international standards, but fear not, there are other options out there open later. However, you do have to do some research and know where you’re heading later in the evening if you don’t want to get caught by a bar closing at midnight and nowhere to go. Timeout is once again a good reference, as are websites such as Designmynight, Resident Advisor and The Londonist. YPlan is a smartphone app that lists and sells tickets to events. Hype! is another smartphone app offering a list of places to go and things happening in Shoreditch, Camden or Soho. The following pages offer suggestions of places to go dance, listen to jazz or attend one of the quirky and entertaining museum lates.
